After being embroiled in corruption-related controversies, the Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) seems to have landed in further troubles as the Income Tax (IT) department on Tuesday initiated legal prosecution proceedings against the party and eventually asked the Election Commission official to cancel AAP’s membership. Corruption allegations against Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal will be examined: CBI

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) will ‘verify and examine’ the corruption allegations levelled against Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal by his sacked cabinet colleague Kapil Mishra. The decision was taken hours after Mishra reached the CBI headquarters and handed over the ‘evidence’ to back his allegations. The Maharashtra government has banned the sale of junk food in school canteens and has suggested healthy alternatives. On the basis of recommendations of the Centre, the state has told schools not to sell food ‘High in Fat, Salt and Sugar’ (HFSS).
