WhatsApp has rolled out two-step verification to enhance security for all users

WhatsApp on Friday rolled out a two-step verification process for all devices (Android, iOS, and Windows Phone apps) to enhance the security of users' accounts. The security feature was available to beta users for quite some time now, but it has now been made official. "When you have the feature enabled, any attempt to verify your phone number on WhatsApp must be accompanied by the six-digit passcode that you choose," WhatsApp said in a statement. The two-step verification feature can be activated by heading to Settings > Account > Two-step verification > Enable.

Shawna Pandya, an Indian-origin astronaut, has denied news reports that said she was shortlisted by NASA for its 2018 space mission under the Citizen Science Astronaut (CSA) programme.
