Thor Ragnarok New Trailer – Watch Thor & Hulk get gladiatorial [Video]

Remember the long golden tresses of Thor portrayed by Australian actor Chris Hemsworth, time to forget it! The first trailer of Thor: Ragnarok launched on April 10 and it has blockbuster written all over it. The first video of third film on Marvel Comics hero, Thor: Ragnarok has showcased everything exciting – from Thor’s new hairstyle, the shocking sequence of his mighty hammer, Mjolnir being plummeted by Hela (Cate Blanchett), the return of Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and finally the epic face-off between Thor and Hulk (Mark Ruffalo).

Thor: Ragnarok unfolds after the events of Avengers: Age of Ultron with the opening scene showing a captive Thor tied in iron chains. To the confused viewers, the Asgardian God of Thunder gives them the back story. Thor’s hammer Mjolnir which is indestructible made up of fictional Asgardian metal uru is the superhero’s reliable weapon. All the Marvel Cinematic Universe films featuring the Thunder God – Thor, The Avengers, Thor: The Dark World and Avengers: Age of Ultron, we have seen the raw power of his hammer. But when Thor throws the Mjolnir to noteworthy villain, Hela played by Cate Blanchett – he is in for a surprise as she demolishes with ease.

As we see the end of Thor’s hammer, we also witness the superhero being captured on the planet Sakaar. The film directed by Taika Waititi shows Thor vulnerable but not less on his strong godly attitude. There is war in Asgard and its doom’s day is on the cards by upcoming Ragnarök. To stop the impending end of Asgard, Thor must win the dual against a known face – Hulk.

When Thor enters the arena to fight off his challenge, we notice the new haircut given to him. While we are still in awe of the Chris Hemsworth desirable looks, enters his challenge – Hulk aka Dr Bruce Banner played by Mark Ruffalo. Thor is as happy as the Marvel fans seeing the Avengers mainstay taking on each other – Thor is happy because he thinks he is fighting off his friend but bad news for the guy as Hulk is in no mood to let this battle be easy.

We have seen many fights between members of The Avengers team. Remember, Iron Man as Hulkbuster take on the Hulk in Avengers: Age of Ultron, Black Widow vs Hawkeye in The Avengers, Captain America vs Iron Man in Captain America: Civil War and now get ready to watch Thor vs Hulk in Thor: Ragnarok. Apart from the two Avengers, we are keen to watch Tom Hiddleston’s Loki as he showed off badassery during the brief knife fighting scene during the battle scene in Asgard.
