Russia Demands Apple & Google To Remove LinkedIn From App Stores

Recently, the Russian Government decided to ban LinkedIn and to do so Russia asked Apple and Google to simply remove the LinkedIn app from their app stores. The problems of LinkedIn and Microsoft in Russia have been rising in recent months. Failure to comply with the rules imposed led to the social network being banned. Now Russia wants to do much more to block access by asking Google and Apple to simply remove the LinkedIn app from their app stores. The decision to ban LinkedIn Russia was taken in October 2016 in response to the decision of a court case. Failure to comply with the decision to maintain local users’ data on Russian territory has thus ended. IIT-Guwahati Scientists Developed A Nanofibrous Mat That Heals Wound

IIT-Guwahati scientists have developed a nanofibrous wound-healing mat that interacts with cells and helps scar heal faster without scarring. This mat is made of PVA, a non-protein polymer mixed with silk protein and varnished with an antibiotic and epidermal growth factor.  Even the wounds that are 6mm in diameter can be healed from this mat by the smart material that accelerates the healing process. This nanofibrous mat is a boon for people suffering from diabetes for whom the wound-healing process is very slow. Pay Property Tax Dues Without Penalty Till Feb 2017

On 17 November 2016, the three Municipal Corporations in Delhi announced the complete waiver of interest and penalty fees on property tax if the arrears are paid before 28th February 2017. This amnesty scheme has been available since 18 November and applies to both residential and commercial properties. After 28 February of next year, there will be certain penalties to be paid for the outstanding property taxes. From 1 – 31 March, 50% interest will have to be paid on the arrears although the other penalties shall be waived off. Keeping in mind the backlog of dues over the years, the scheme was launched by the BJP-ruled civic bodies in the national capital.
